The head of Interpol Afande Assan Kasingye is asking religious leaders to comply with a police directive for security checks at their places of worship.
Over the weekend the Kampala metropolitan police commander Andrew Kawesa said he was to black list all religious places without security check ups.
Kasigye says churches must comply since terrorists can target any place with a crowd.
He is also asking the church leaders to work closely with the securityorgans in sensitizing the masses about the dangers and the costs of terrorism.
