I was surprised to see this article in the headlines today. Last month I spent two weeks in Israel doing business for my primary employer. It is a shocking feeling knowing that this happened only a few weeks after I stepped foot into this same church. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the Church that was built on top of multiple historic sites from the time of Jesus. Some of these include the location of Golgotha (Where Jesus Cross was placed into the ground) and his tomb.

I'm Back

Wow two weeks went by pretty fast. My hope was to have posts preset for my viewers prior to my departure; however, the job that pays the bills got in the way…

I hope to have multiple pictures to share with you soon. I spent the last two weeks in both Israel and the West Bank. This was an amazing opportunity to walk on the same streets that Jesus did. Seeing first hand the conflict is this part of the Middle East brought a whole new prospective for me on church security.

This is a picture of the Zion Gate, part of the original wall of Jerusalem. Following the theme of this blog - "The Gatekeeper" - it was a great opportunity to see these places first hand.
