Not Guilty Plea - Tulsa Church Sex Case - Victory Christian Church

A judge has entered a not-guilty plea on behalf of a former janitor charged with making a lewd proposal to a 14-year-old girl at a megachurch in Tulsa.

Israel Castillo said nothing during his arraignment Friday morning. A judge entered the plea on his behalf and scheduled an Aug. 19 trial date.

Victory Christian Center - Tulsa - Church Sex Abuse

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Two of the five Tulsa megachurch employees accused of waiting two weeks to report the rape of a 13-year-old girl on ministry grounds are due in court for a pre-trial hearing.

John and Charica Daugherty — the son and daughter-in-law of the co-founder and pastor at the 17,000-member Victory Christian Center — are expected to appear in district court Friday.

Security at Church: This is another report of sex abuse related to a mega-church. Two Pastors have been charged and required to report to court for NOT reporting the crime in a timely fashion.

Company Donates Security System To Church

A Tulsa church is getting some much needed extra security features. all for free.

It comes after a shocking number of burglaries where thieves have taken just about everything they can get their hands on—even paper plates and toilet paper.

Crews with a Tulsa company called Security by Black installed a few things to make Lakeview Heights Baptist Church more burglar-proof.

Teen Sentenced to Attend Church as Part of Probation

MUSKOGEE - Attending church on Sunday for 10 years was one of the conditions a Muskogee County judge placed on a teenager whose sentence in a manslaughter case was deferred this week for 10 years.

Defense attorney Donn Baker said that although the church requirement is unusual, it is not something he intends to challenge.
